STUART'S NEW PROJECT IS OUT!
My new solo project is here and I hope everyone enjoys listening to it as much as I enjoyed doing it! I can't say enough about Shannon and his phenominal talent as a producer and engineer on this project. He really did an awesome job putting this whole thing together. It is such a pleasure to work with someone who is so dedicated to giving the Lord the very best he has to offer and making sure that everyone he works with does the same. I also want to take the opportunity here to thank my wife Jan and my girls Stephanie and Rebecca for all of their love and support. I have dedicated this project to them. Without their love and support, there is no way that I could do what I do. I love all my girls! As I have said before, the project is a complete departure from what you are used to hearing from me as the bass singer with Eternal Vision. I really wanted to stretch the envelope with this project and I think we did just that. I have had some really great comments on it so far and I am so happy that it is being so well received. Mike says it is a "million seller" well, I thought he said "million seller", actually, what he said was "million cellar", he says we've got a million of 'em in the cellar and we need to sell some! You can get your CD on our web site products page! Thanks to all our friends for all you do for this ministry ad for helping us to keep going in His service!

We Finally Get The Chance To Catch Up!
Since Christmas, it has been a whirlwind of activity for Eternal Vision! We are finally slowing down enought to get you caught up on all the latest events. Let's begin with "Christmas in the Smokies". Wow, what an event. We were there for the first three days and it was fabulous. This event is hosted by Sonshine Promotions and The Roarks. Everything was first class all the way from the accomodations to the entertainment schedule. If you didn't get the opportunity to be with us this year, you want to make sure and get in on the fun next year. It was so popular this year that they had two sessions. A Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Session, which is the days we were there, followed up by a Thursday, Friday, Saturday session. Both events treated the guests to nightly concerts, a bar-b-q lunch served by the artists, and an evening at Dixie Stampede. In addition, there were morning devotionals to insure your spirit was also well fed! Eternal Vision plans to be at all six dates next year! We can't wait! After "Christmas in the Smokies", we started making plans for our west coast debut. We were scheduled to sing at the Lincoln Theater in Napa, California. Eternal Vision was the first gospel group to ever sing there. It was a beautiful venue and we were treated like kings! The Lincoln Theater is known for having some of the biggest acts in show business so we were a little concerned that we might not draw a very big crowd. We certainly didn't expect that anyone had ever heard of us in Northern California. But, God can do all things and he certainly came through with the crowd. We had a packed house when the curtains opened and the audience really seemed to enjoy themselves. We have already been invited back for next year. We also have been hearing from the local churches wanted to book us for dates in the area! After California, we flew back home for one day and then hit the road again to Panama City, Florida for the Emerald Coast Southern Gospel Music Association Convention. This event is a 3 day event that features some of the biggest names in Southern Gospel Music in nightly concerts. Three Bridges was the headline group on the night we sang and Stuart was asked to sing bass with them on one of their numbers. They gave him back to us immediately afterward! We left the ECSGMA convention on Saturday night and headed over to Port Canaveral to meet up with The Roarks for the Sonshine Cruise aboard the Funship Sensation. We sailed out Sunday afternoon for a 3 night 4 day Bahama cruise with ports of call in Freepart and Nassau. Another great experience! The first night of the cruise was a little rough but other than that it was smooth sailing. Each night of the cruise featured concerts by some great artists and all the guests had a great time! Next year, we will be doing a 7 day cruise to the Virgin Islands. You DO NOT want to miss this. There will be a link on our web site shortly to get you hooked up for both the cruise and Christmas in the Smokies. Be sure and look for those. After the cruise, we headed over to Orlando for two days. Stuart's wife Jan, works for Wyndham Resorts so she got us in at Bonnet Creek inside the gates at Disney for two nights in a beautiful 2 bedroom condo. We toured the Magic Kingdom on Friday and had a wonderful time being kids again. We wished there had been more thrill rides but we'll have to catch those on the next trip. Now if we can just get the tune to "It's a Small World" out of our head! Saturday night we had a wonderful service at First Church of God in Perry Florida. It is a beautiful church and we made some great new friends! The last stop for the trip was Sunday night at Marrietta Church of God. It was another great service with people coming to the altar and God moving in a mighty way! We have been so humbled to see God working through this ministry and watching it grow. We were blessed to see over 1,000 people come to the altar in our services in 2007 and we are anxious to see what God has in store for 2008. This is going to be a monumental year for Eternal Vision and we need each of you to pray earnestly that we will let God have his way. God is doing a mighty work and we know Satan is not going to sit idly by. He will be looking to attack us at every turn and we must be dilligent to put on the "whole armor" of God! Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we continue to "labor in the vineyard"!

A VERY SPECIAL GAITHER GATHERING!
In the week to week travels of our ministry, we meet a lot of people and see a lot of places. But every now and then, something really special happens. One such thing was the day we had in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Bill Gaither's gang at Ron's Catfish Buffett. It all started when our good friend Tommy McDonald called to see if we wanted to come down to Jonesboro to have lunch with Bill Gaither and members of The Gaither Vocal Band and Ernie Hauss and Signature Sound. We were singing about 50 miles from Jonesboro on Friday night so we jumped at the opportunity. In addition to having lunch with the guys, we would also be attending the concert that evening at Arkansas State University and Stuart, Shannon, and Kayla would be working the product tables for Gordon Mote, Gaither's pianist.
We arrived in Jonesboro at about 11:45AM because we were originally supposed to meet for lunch at 12:00PM. Tommy called at about ten minutes until noon and told us that the lunch had been backed up to 3:00PM. That gave us an opportunity to rest a little since we had been traveling all night Wednesday night. We arrived at the restaurant a little early and got right to work on the buffet. It was without a doubt one of the best buffets we have ever been to. There was everything you can think of for the catfish lover. Whole catfish, catfish filets, crawfish, frog legs, corn on the cob, coleslaw, boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, well... you get the idea. Just after three o'clock, we start to see some familiar faces coming through the door. Guy Penrod, Marshall Hall, Ernie Hauss, Bill Gaither, and many others. There were about 30 of us all together. Not much time was wasted in small talk at first. Everyone was hungry so most of us concentrated on getting a good lunch. After the eating, Tommy McDonald insisted that we sing a song for the Gaither group. We decided to do an homage to The Gaither Vocal Band by singing a song off of their Accapella album titled "Low Down the Chariot". Now, you may think that singing a Gaither song to Bill Gaither and the Gaither Vocal Band is nerve wracking, well, you'd be right. But we got through it OK and we think everyone enjoyed it. After sang, the whole group joined in as Tommy McDonald led us in a song. Bill kept everyone on track by using what is known as the "Nashville Number System". It is a system used by studio musicians to chords in a particular key. Bill would hold up the number of fingers to indicate the next chord coming up. Shannon and Mike are the only ones in our group that know the system so Gail and I just followed them! We had a remarkable time and it will be a cherished memory for the rest of our lives.
After lunch we had a brief opportunity to have a little little fellowship with everyone and then it was off to ASU for the concert. The concert was awesome and we enjoyed every performer. The Gaither Vocal band was phenomenal as usual. They have a style that is unmatched in Gospel music. Ernie Hauss and Signature Sound gave a high energy performance that was a pure pleasure to hear and to watch. Jeff and Sheri Easter blew us away with their tight harmonies and heartfelt lyrics. Janet Paschal was a class act all the way and Ivan Parker did a beautiful rendition of the Ray Boltz classic "Thank You". Jessi Dixon and Lynda Randle both did a phenomenal job as well. The highlight of the evening for us was when our good friend Gene McDonald received a standing ovation after a beautiful rendition of the Dottie Rambo classic, "He Looked Beyond My Fault and Saw My Need"! Man, that feller can sing!
After we left the concert that evening, we all had an opportunity to reflect on a wonderful day. To have the opportunity to be with people that we have admired and respected for so long was a truly a memorable experience. We are often asked by people at our concerts and services if we have ever sung with Bill Gaither. Now, we can honestly say, we have!

NEW DOORS ARE OPENING FOR EV!
Eternal Vision has been blessed to have a lot of doors opened for us in the last few months. We are branching out into areas that are getting us a lot of exposure and helping to broaden our audience. A couple of months ago, we were honored to be a part of the telethon for the Total Christian Television Network in Marion, IL. TCT owns 36 television stations and they are broadcast world wide to 170 countries via Direct TV and other satelite uplinks. Check you local listings to see what chanel they are on in your area.
The telethon went so well for us, we were asked to come back and tape two more shows. The first was TCT Alive, and the next was the special Memorial Day taping of TCT Today. We were really pleased with the way both programs turned out. The staff at TCT are all great people and the techinical staff is the best in the business. The sound was the best we have ever heard for a television broad-cast. We will be going back in October to shoot a Christmas Show and we are really looking forward to that opportunity.
In addition to the television exposure, we had the opportunity on July 27th, to do a show at Country Tonight Theatre, Country Tonight was voted best show in Pigeon Forge in 2007 and is one of the highest attended shows in Pigeon Forge. They have a great show and all of the performers are first rate. We were treated great and had a wonderful time. We will be going back to do another show on August 16th. If you are in the area please come by and see us! We are hoping that we can build a good following and make our appearances there a regular event.
Last but not least, we have had a wonderful opportunity come our way for NQC. Many of you are familiar with the Diamond Awards that are presented each year during National Quartet Convention. It takes place in the Mary Room of Executive Inn West. Last year, the awards were attended by nearly 1,000 people. This year, Eternal Vision Ministries will be an official sponsor of the awards. The opening for a sponsor-ship came available at the last minute and we were lucky to be in the right place at the right time. Of course, we know it wasn't luck at all but God doing what only God can do. Eternal Vision will be performing at the awards ceremony as well as presenting one of the awards. We don't have all the details yet, but we know that it will be a great opportunity for us.
We are continually amazed at all the things that God is doing in and through this ministry. We thank Him for all the blessings that He brings our way, and all the things that He has protected us from. We will continue to seek His will as we continue in His service.

NEW PROJECT COMING SOON!
Recently, Eternal Vision signed an exclusive recording contract with the prestigious Sanctuary label and we are hard at work on our first project with them. The project is scheduled for release in late fall of 2007 and we believe it is the most exciting project we have ever done. Shannon has worked for over a year picking, writing, and arranging 12 original songs for this project. All but one of the songs on this project is being recorded for the first time. The musical styles are varied but each song is uniquely Eternal Vision. From the calypso beats of "Soul Searchin'" to the bluesy strains of "Hands on the Wheel" there is something for everyone on this project. Whether you are a fan of traditional "Southern Gospel", "Country Gospel",or something with a more contemporary feel, this latest effort from Eternal Vision will be sure to please.
Once we have completed the project, we will begin selecting songs for radio release. We are really excited about the possibilities. We believe that several of the songs will do well in the national charts and will go a long way toward getting Eternal Vision more exposure to a larger audience. Our goal has always been and will continue to be to reach as many people as possible with the message of the Gospel of Christ.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we embark on this next leg of our ministrie's journey.
