Since 1989, Eternal Vision has been seeking to follow the will of God in all that we do. Through the years, this ministry has experienced the thrill of being on the mountain tops and the uncertainties of traveling through the valleys. There has been joy, sadness, excitement, fear, and every other emotion that is a part of the human experience. We have had many successes and we have also made many mistakes. Through it all, we have learned more and more of God’s grace and goodness. He has never wavered in His promise to guide and direct us. He has blessed us in every way and we are so thankful for all that He has brought us through and all that He has spared us from. As we enter our 20th year of ministry, we are as committed as ever to serving the Lord. In 2007, we had the honor of seeing more than 1000 people come to the altar in our services. We have seen God move in mighty ways in and through this ministry and we have been blessed to experience unprecedented growth in such a short time. God is not through yet and there are many things on the horizon that will propel us toward our mission of taking the message of Christ to the world. With this growth come many challenges, the greatest of which is financial. As our ministry grows, so do the expenses. Everything from bus fuel and maintenance to recording and production costs continue to increase monthly. There is payroll, bus insurance, cleaning, travel, food, lodging, and the list goes on and on. These expenses come even when the group is not on the road. Through the Christmas Holidays, we had several open dates and cancellations that have taken a serious toll on the finances of our ministry. As many may know from personal experience, playing “catch up” is a difficult task. This ministry is our sole occupation. We feel that God has called each of us to a full-time position in this ministry and this is how we earn our living. We have each spent much time in prayer over our individual decisions to do this full-time and we are convinced that this is God’s will for our lives.

That being said, we have also spent many hours as a group, discussing and praying about how God would want us to proceed. How can we best continue to do the work that God has called us to and still meet the financial needs of this ministry? After much careful and prayerful consideration, we have decided to bring our need to the attention of those of you that follow our ministry. In the past, there have been many of you that have followed the direction of the Lord and have invested your resources into the work of this ministry. You have been a tremendous blessing to us and we know that God has honored your gifts and blessed you for them. We are asking that you prayerfully consider what God would have you do concerning this need.

OUR NEED:
Over the last couple of years, the cost of travel has increased far more than we have ever experienced in the past. The cost of fuel has tripled in the last five years. Unfortunately, our income has not increased at the same rate. That has led to an ever increasing deficit requiring us to pay for bus repairs, new equipment, and other unexpected expenses with high interest credit cards. The result of this is a credit card debt of approximately $22,000.00. Additionally, we still owe approximately $26,000.00 on the bus. Our prayer is that God will place it on your heart to help us liquidate this debt. The liquidation of these debts will allow us to redirect the resources of this ministry to positive activities.
