Ask yourself this very important question. "If I were to die today, would heaven be my eternal home?"
If you cannot answer "Yes" to that question, please keep reading this page!
The function of this ministry is very simple. We are not about entertainment, musical skill, or
flashy suits. All of these things are tools to get your attention so that we can tell you the
reason we do what we do. It may be that you haven't had the opportunity to see Eternal Vision
live. You may not have heard us sing a single note. That's OK, you're here now and we have
something to tell you.
Jesus loves you. He loves you so much that, for some reason, he led you to this page of our web
site. He led you here because He has something that He wants you to know. The first thing He
wants you to know is that there is hope.
It is hard to imagine that anyone growing up in America has not memorized John 3:16 from early
childhood. But, let's take the opportunity to examine it again, "For God so loved the world that
He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life". You are "whosoever"! God loved you and He made a way that you could have life
everlasting.
You may be saying to yourself that God could not love you. You have never sought
God's favor. You have not been tuned to God's will. You have never done anything that would make
God want you. That is all true. But, you are here now, in the 4th Chapter of John, the Samarian
woman was not seeking Jesus at the well of Jacob. Jesus found her there, she did not find Him.
God quickened her spirit so that she might understand that Jesus was the Messiah and that He
spoke the truth and she believed. Paul was not seeking Jesus on the road to Damascus in the 9th
Chapter of Acts. God struck him down to get his attention.
The scripture is full of examples of people who had no intentions of becoming Christians but God
had other plans. God's Holy Word, in the 2nd Chapter of Ephesians says this starting with the
4th verse and going through the 10th: "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love
with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ
(by grace you have been saved), and raised up together, and made us sit in the Heavenly places in
Christ Jesus., that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His
kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not
of yourselves: it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His
workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should
walk in them."
You see, because God loves you, He has brought you to this place, He has made you spiritually
alive. He has given you the information you need to know in order to be saved and He has already
given you the faith to trust it. Jesus said in the 65th verse of the 7th Chapter of John, " And
He said "Therefore I have said to you that no man can come to Me unless it has been granted by
My Father". You don't deserve it and you certainly cannot obtain it on your own. He gives you
this gift of grace. His spirit has born witness to you of this truth. He has given you the faith
to realize that in order to be saved, you must trust in Christ Jesus as your personal savior
(Romans 10:9&11, Acts 4:12 , Hebrew 2:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9). and you must repent (turn away
from) your sins. (Luke 15:7-10) OK, you know this to be true and you accept it. You have asked
Christ to be your personal savior. Let me say right here, this is not an intellectual decision.
It is not a decision made with the head, it must be made in the heart. You will know if God has
quickened you. Now what do you do with this information?
First, you need to profess your salvation publicly (Romans 10:9). In the 10th Chapter of Matthew
in verse 32 Jesus said "Therefore, whosoever confesses me before men, him I will also confess
before My Father who is in heaven." We are commanded to let others know what God has done for
us!
The second thing is, you need to find a good "Bible believing" church and join them through
believer's baptism. This precedent is set forth in the 2nd Chapter of Acts in the 38th verse
and is command by Jesus in Matthew 28:19. It is important for you to be among God's people in
this early stage of your new life as a Christian. You will need to be discipled by a body of
believers that cares for you and nurtures you in your new found faith. (Hebrews 10:25)
Lastly, seek God's will for your life. He has a purpose for you. He has lifted you from the
bondage of sin. You are a new creature in Christ. Old things have passed away and behold all
things are made new! You don't need to worry about all the things you don't know. Start where
you are, do what you know to do. Seek God's will in His word. Seek the counsel of Christians
you respect. The Holy Spirit will guide you as you seek God's will for your life.
If you have accepted God's grace through the hearing of the Gospel at this web site, would you
please take the time to drop us a line at
evision@tds.net? We want to rejoice with the angels in our new brother or sister and
we want to lift you up in prayer. May God bless you and be with you as you continue your life's
journey in His service.
One other message for those of you who already know God's amazing grace. Maybe you are facing
trials and tribulations that seem overwhelming. Maybe you are not where God wants you to be.
Whatever your situation is. Know that God is aware of it, and He wants to lead you through it.
You are never alone. His love and His strength is always there. All you need to do is call on
him. Won't you take the time right now to talk with the Father and seek His help? He loves you
with a perfect love that never wavers or fails. You can rest in His arms and he will see you
through. If we at Eternal Vision Ministries can ever be of service to you in any way. Please
do not hesitate to contact us either through our web site, or by phone at (865) 925-0122.
Lastly, please be in prayer for Eternal Vision that we may always remain in the center of His
will and that He will find us vessels fit for His service.
